Truan turns 4!

In October, Truan had birthday number 4!  Hard to believe how time flies.  Angie made him a cake that looked like a road, with cars on it.  I think he liked it.

Then someone else got a hold of the marshmallow bag.

Pumpkin Hollow

On Sept 28, 2010 we headed out to Pumpkin Hollow along with Truan's pre-school class to check out the facilities.  What a great weather day!  30 kids at age 3 and 4...mayhem...but what a great weather day!

Truan Starts Pre-School

On Sept 2, 2010 Truan started pre-school at Harvest City Christian Academy!  Harvest City was not expecting this guy.  Harvest City does not know what hit it.  Harvest City will never be the same.

3 Weeks or 1 Really Long Day?

Has it really been 3 weeks already?  Cause it seems like 1 really long day.

TROOEY
The highlight for Truan this week had to be the broken water main 2 doors down.  The city had to bring in a digger to dig up the road and the yard, several dump trucks to haul dirt, and several guys to stand around with shovels pretending to look busy.  We were pretty much out there all day!
P.S. He likes to hold the baby.

TRUSTY
When he is not hanging on da-da, he is busting his new move on the dance floor.  Might be his version of "the piston".  When he hears "When the boys light up" by The Newsboys he can't hold it in.

And again...

Nice work Trusty, you can dance, but still no walking at 16 months!

ARAYA
Still busy eating...whoa, look at that belly!

And, still has day and nights mixed up.  Praying that will turn around.

The first 2 weeks...

OK, so these first couple weeks with 3 kids has been quite a change...at least bigger than we thought going from 2 to 3 would be.  It's been terrific & trying, fun & frustrating, marvelous & mayhem, cool & crazy, tremendous & tiring.  (The boys are every second word of those examples).

Hey people, thanks very much for the visits, the gifts, the calls, the packages, the cards and notes of encouragement, and the e-mails and comments!  Much appreciated.

Comments from the peanut gallery:

Angie - I feel like I'm in a daze and this has been 1 really, really long day.  But I am enthralled with little Araya Hope, and I think she was worth the pain now.  I am not 100% on that yet though.

Todd - Week 1: Hmm, well this will be interesting...I will be spending a lot of time looking after these boys.  Well, I am up for the challenge.  I can do this.  It'll be fun!

Week 2:  Who signed me up for this parental leave jazz?  When can I go back to work?

Truan - I wanna hold the baby (repeat 4x).  Hey dad, wanna go downstairs with me and play semis? (repeat many times each day).

Trusty - Da-da.  Da-da.  (Repeat every 30 seconds, and every time he sees da-da or a picture of dada or any male {i.e. the dude on the Bee Maid honey jar for example}).

Araya - Zzzzzz.....waaaaaaaaaahhhhh!  (repeat)

Enjoy the pics!
